Razor bumps
(pseudofolliculitis barbae) occur on the faces of men with curly hair.
Statistics:
50- 80% of African-American men.
15- 20 % of Caucasian men live with this problem.
Shaving sharpens
the hair ends making it easier for them to penetrate the skin. Razor bumps
itch, burn and make shaving impossible.
Treat the skin well to prevent razor bumps!!
ANTISEPTIC
SOAP: Cleanse the areas with antiseptic soap: bikini line, under
arms, and face areas. It is very important for men to cleanse the skin
with antiseptic soap before shaving their face.
PEELING
CREME & COOL
CREME: Use peeling crème on affected areas, after using
antiseptic soap.
Apply a little Peeling Creme and a small amount of water.
Apply a gentle massage to the area.
Use Peeling Creme 2- 3 times per week, rinse well with water.
Use Cool Creme to hydrate the skin.
INGRO
STOP:
Ingro Stop is specially designed for the treatment and prevention of ingrown
hairs when waxing and shaving.
- Use frequently after shaving, but before using an after shave product.
- For best results, use 3 days before waxing treatment.
- Use Ingro Stop , NOT IMMEDIATELY AFTER WAXING, but wait until next day.
Use INGRO STOP for 3 days after waxing, 2 times per day.
- When ingrown hairs cause an infection, use INGRO STOP multiple times
per day until infection is gone. After 3-4 days, improvement should be
visible and the removal of ingrown hairs should be feasible.
FOLLOW
SIMPLE RAZOR TIPS TO PREVENT RAZOR BUMPS AND RAZOR BURN:
-
Never shave a dirty face and always wash the face before each shave.
- Shave daily: The longer the beard grows, the more potential there is
for the formation of shaving bumps.
- Shave with a sharp blade.
- Never shave against the direction of the hair growth.
- Never stretch or pull the skin when shaving.
- Never shave repetitively over the same area. Three (3) strokes in the
same area is the limit.
- Never try to shave too close, especially in the neck area.
